This CD contains Enhanced CU-SeeMe Version 2.0.1 for Windows


CONTENTS OF THIS CD:

This CD contains a full working version of the software you need
to install and run Enhanced CU-SeeMe for Windows. This CD provides 
everything you need to install your software, whether you are a 
registered user or a demo user. You will need a serial number to 
unlock the software on this CD. The DEMO serial number for this CD
is:

		DCNE-0103-0P80-0BC1

NOTE: "0" is the numeral zero.

You can also get a serial number directly from White Pine from the
CU-SeeMe home page on the World Wide Web at:

		http://www.cu-seeme.com

From the home page, click on Download Demos. From the Download Demo
page, click on the Download Demo button for the software you want to
demo. Then click on the Serial Number button at the top of the page.



####################### ENHANCED CU-SEEME ###########################

INSTALLING ENHANCED CU-SEEME FOR WINDOWS:

You can find the software for your Enhanced CU-SeeMe Windows client
in the folder named cu-seeme on this CD. Change directory to cu-seeme,
and select the the file cu201win.exe and copy it to your system disk.

DOCUMENTATION FOR ENHANCED CU-SEEME:

This CD contains an electronic version of the Enhanced CU-SeeMe
User Guide and the WhitePineBoard User Guide. The user guides are
included in the Adobe Portable Document Format (referred to as pdf
files). These pdf files will automatically be installed on your
system when you install Enhanced CU-SeeMe. The Adobe Acrobat Reader
application will also be automatically installed. The Acrobat
Reader is needed to read the pdf files.

Enhanced CU-SeeMe v2.01 for Windows

To RECEIVE:

PC system with an 486 DX/33 or higher processor (video receive only) 
486 DX/66 or higher processor recommended 
Windows 95, Windows 3.1, or Windows for WorkGroups 3.11 running in enhanced mode 
256-color (8-bit) video with 640x480 or higher resolution 
Sound card with 8-bit sound with microphone input (needed for sending) and speaker output 
Minimum 4MB RAM (8MB or more recommended) 
An IP network connection 

Windows Sockets compliant TCP/IP stack 
Bandwidth of 28.8Kb or better (14.4Kb for audio only) 
SLIP/PPP compatible

To SEND:

Equipped to receive as outlined above with the added requirements: 

Connectix QuickCam serial port digitizer (with camera), or 
Video camera with standard NTSC output (like a camcorder) and 

Video capture board not using overlay technology 
RCA cable (composite video), or 
S-video if capture board supports it 

Recommended: Separate microphone or headset for better "phone-like" 
use.
